As a VIP Banking Relationship Manager for Great Southern Bank, Mary develops new Private Banking relationship’s for the high net worth through her vast array of networks and excellent relationship building skills. Clients benefit from her personalized approach in developing a customized financial strategy incorporating banking, investments and trust services. Previous to Great Southern Bank Murray spent the past 20 years as Vice President of Private banking for Infinia Bank and M&I Wealth Management. She was recognized several times by the CEO as the top performer of Private Banking. She was recognized several times by the CEO as the top performer of Private Banking.
Prior to working in the bank industry Murray spent 10 years working for Ethan Allen Interiors and Dayton’s Edina Home Store as an Interior Designer.
Mary is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in Business Administration and Interior Design. Murray is a native of the Twin Cities and has been and continues to be an active of member of her community through thru the following organizations:

United Way - contributing member and volunteer for many years
Junior Achievement - Co Chaired the JA Job Shadow program with M&I Bank to take 75 students into the workplace to learn about a career in the banking industry.
Wingspan Life Resource - volunteered for 7 years to help organize and decorate their annual Prom Dance for individuals living with disabilities.
Twin Cities Marathon - volunteer for 6 years at one of the water stops for the runners
Pinky Swear Foundation - Keeping the promise to help kids with cancer and their families thru direct financial aid for basic needs.
Growing up in a family of 6 children, which consisted of 5 older brothers, it was important to have a good role model of my mother who helped form me into the talented and confident woman I am today. My mom’s favorite motto for me growing up was “ be a leader not a follower”.
I look forward to being an active Board Member with Diverse Daisies and working with and impacting young women in the Twin Cities area to find their inner beauty, being a contributing member of their community and helping them be the very best they can in their life time.
