Judge Holton Dimick has served as a district court judge in Hennepin County since 2012. She is currently assigned to Family Court and staffs a specialized calendar of domestic abuse cases that are on behalf of minor children. Judge Holton Dimick represents the Family Court bench at Little Earth Court Watch meetings and is a member of the Hennepin County Family Court Enhancement Project which aims to improve the family court response to divorce and parenting cases involving domestic violence.
Prior to her appointment, Judge Holton Dimick was the Deputy of the Criminal Division at the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office, a prosecutor in the Violent Crimes Division of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, and a litigation attorney with Gray, Plant, Mooty & Bennett and Mackall, Crounse & Moore. She is currently a member of the DeLaSalle High School Board of Trustees and a member of the Board of Directors for AchieveMpls. Judge Holton Dimick is a graduate of Alverno College’s School of Nursing and Marquette University Law School."
